The Bristol Hip Arthroplasty Course (BHAC) is a long established annual international hip meeting organised by Evert Smith. It attracts a strong international faculty of distinguished speakers who present their views on all issues valid to a hip practice while striving to improve current practice and promote clinical excellence on outcomes, new procedures, materials, bearing surfaces, design, primary and revision hip replacement and their complications. It is well known for its end of session debates and it has grown in stature and reputation since Evert assumed responsibility for it following John Newman’s retirement in 2003. CME approved. 11.5 CPD Points. It is now co-convened by Evert Smith, Anthony Ward, Richie Gill, Richard Baker and Mehool Acharya.
